Case studies illustrating how the department’s research is making an impact in the wider world are now available on-line. These were submitted as part of UCL’s Research Excellence Framework (REF2014) submission. ‘Impact’ was a new element in the exercise and the results for UCL overall indicate that the university has the greatest impact power (according to GPA X FTE measure) in the UK (http://www.ucl.ac.uk/ref2014/ref2014-results/UCL-REF2014-Results/impact-power).
