The new, largest group ever of CDT students start their MRes

UCL-Cambridge Photonic Systems Centre attracts largest ever cohort of students starting their Masters of Research (MRes) in Photonic Systems Development. The EPSRC funded UCL-Cambridge Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT) in Photonic Systems Development has welcomed its largest ever cohort of students to UCL and Cambridge to start their Masters of Research (MRes) in Photonic Systems Development.

The largest group of CDT students in the Centre's history have started their MRes this September with us at both UCL and the University of Cambridge. Induction week started on 27th September 2012 at UCL and finished on 3rd October in Cambridge. Students attended introductory lectures and presentations from many of the CDT academic management, research group leaders and supervisors. They must now complete their taught modules at the two institutions and their two mini research projects which run from November 2012 - May 2013 and May 2013 - September 2013. They can choose from a large list of projects at both world leading universities.
