Best Paper Award in IFIP Networking 2012

Awarded to Prof George Pavlou and his research students

Dr Wei Chai, Mr Diliang He, Dr Ioannis Psaras and Prof. George Pavlou received the best paper award at the IFIP Networking 2012 international confrence that took place on the 21-25 May 2012 in Prague, Czech Republic. IFIP Networking is a top class international conference, one of the major key conferences in Networking, and this year's occurence included a celebration for the 40 years of IFIP TC6 on Communication Systems with talks from various Internet pioneers, which makes this award even more important.

The paper details are as follows: W.K. Chai, D. He, I. Psaras, G. Pavlou, Cache "Less for More" in Information-Centric Networks, Proc. of the 11th IFIP Networking international conference, Prague, Czech Republic, May 2012. In fact this work started last year with the MRes student Mr Diliang He, who also received the best project award. The best paper has been announced during the social event and can be seen in the conference program. Congratulations to all involved for this important achievement.
