Find A Better Way helps fund a new PhD position

Find A Better Way is a charity set-up by Sir Bobby Charlton following a visit to Cambodia where he saw first-hand the effects of landmines on people and their communities. His vision was that with technological advances, there must be a better way to detect and remove the landmines than the established methods with which current estimates, over 1000 years are needed to clear the many millions of landmines across the world.

The project for this PhD position is to develop ground-penetrating radar that is capable of locating landmines against other objects found in the ground.

More details about the position is found in our vacancies section and further information about the charity work can be found on the Find A Better Way website.
