Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave (FMCW) Radar Work: Postdoc Researcher Matthew Ash interviewed by IET Electronics Letters

Matthew Ash, a researcher in the Sensors, Systems and Circuits group lead by Professor Paul Brennan, has been interviewed by IET Electronics Letters about his work in frequency modulated continuous wave (FMCW) radar. In the interview Matthew discusses his field of research, including FMCW radar imaging of geophysical phenomena, and significance of his recently published Letter titled ‘Transmitter noise considerations in super-Nyquist FMCW radar design’ to the engineering design community. The conclusion of the analysis is that super-Nyquist FMCW radar is well-suited to multistatic radar systems, which is an area which Matthew is currently exploring.
