Engineering Exchange: Energy Saving Technology

The Oxypod

The Oxypod project brought together Dr David Selviah and Nafiseh Vahabi from Electronic and Electrical Engineering with members of the Goodwin Development Trust. It aimed to support development and testing of the Oxypod de-aerator technology for water heating systems.

The technology aims to reduce energy bills and service requirements for residential use. The project won the audience choice funding award at our Health, Ageing and Well-being forum.

The Engineering Exchange is a group of engineers and community members based at University College London. Our mission: to make UCL Engineering expertise available to communities, while helping staff & students align their work with local needs.
