You will also get a salary from the company offering the internship.
We are delighted to be able to give our undergraduate students an opportunity to apply for the Cisco International Internship Programme (CIIP) which allows students to spend a year working for Cisco Systems at Cisco's Headquarters in San Jose, California. Cisco only offer this opportunity to very few universities globally. Our students at Cisco have found that a year's degree related work has given them real business experience, increased their motivation and helped set them up for life with contacts, experience and opportunities.
Cisco also run a mentoring programme for undergraduate and postgraduate students in the department involving termly meetings with Cisco employees to help students to develop their transferable skills and increase their employability. For more information speak to Tim Bodley-Scott, Business Development Manager.
