Successful Internships at Imagination Technologies

Three undergraduates spend summer in large UK tech company

Three of our undergraduate students spent the summer on successful internships at tech company Imagination Technologies. 3rd year student Ben Thomas, pictured here with Graduate Project Engineer, Keno Mario-Ghae and a new Creator board that he worked on during his time at the company said:

"I was in the PURE team working on radios and the new Creator board by imagination. I learnt a great deal about circuit design and thoroughly enjoyed myself in the process!"

Another intern and President of the department's Fleming Society 4th year student Christian White also found the internship very beneficial. He said:

"I worked in MIPS hardware, assisting with scripting and verification tasks, as well as helping to deliver workshops to academics on MIPSfpga. It an enjoyable to get an insight into a real world engineering firm."

Finally, another summer UCL EEE intern at Imagination, Ben Banks said:

"I was placed in the Ray Tracing team in PowerVR and got to work on a software tool to help other engineers in the company. I learnt a lot about what working in a company like and its since gotten me thinking about my future career."
