My research is in the areas of wireless networks, optimization, stochastic control, interactive multimedia systems, as well as online adaptive decision making strategies. You can find an updated list of publication here.
I graduated from University of Bologna in 2005 (MS degree) and 2009 (PhD degree). I was then a PostDoc for one year at the University of California, San Diego, working with Prof. L. Milstein and Prof. P. Cosman and for three years at the EPFL working with Prof. P. Frossard.
New student projects/thesis at bachelor and master level on
- 360 video streaming and virtual reality
- learning strategies for wireless communication
- optimization strategies for large-scale networks
We work at the fronteer of wireless communication, signal processing, multimedia streaming, and machine learning.
Our vision is to develop future agile networks for immersive communications, IoT applications, and network science at large.
The UCL's Communications and Information Systems Group is actively involved in the fundamental and practical aspects of communications systems and networks.
