Sean Kilmurray


Sean Kimurray received his B.Eng. degree in Electronic and Communications Engineering from London Metropolitan University in 2006.

Having worked for two years as a software developer, he came to UCL in 2008 and completed an MSc in Technologies for Broadband Communications.

In September 2009 he joined the Centre for Doctoral Training in Photonic Systems Development and successfully completed a one-year MRes. He is currently working towards his PhD.


Research Interests

Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) for coherent optical networks.
