We welcome Dr Jietao Liu to pi-lab
pi-lab is delighted to welcome Dr Jietao Liu, Associate Professor at Xidian University. Jietao joins us on a prestigious Chinese Scholarship Council fellowship to work on the design and fabrication of dynamic metamaterials.
We welcome Nick Salaris to pi-lab
Nick, a PhD student on the IPES CDT, joins pi-lab to work on flexible oxygen sensor arrays for biomedical applications. The project is in collaboration with Prof. Manish Tiwari's group in the Department of Mechanical Engineering.

Christian Sol, PhD student in pi-lab sheds light on the effects of phase transition hysteresis and gradient on the performance of thermochromic smart windows in a paper published in Scientific Reports.
