UCL EE Undergraduate wins IET prize
First year undergraduate student, Hasani Ade, has won the London Local Network final of a global IET competition called “Present around the World” (http://conferences.theiet.org/patw/about/index.cfm) for young engineers.
Hasani attended the event on 18th February and gave a presentation titled “One Step Closer To A Renewable Future: Energy Storage”. Individual competitors give a ten minute presentation on an engineering or technology subject of their choice in front of an audience and panel of judges, followed by a 5 minute question and answer session.
Hasani said “Overall the competition was a great opportunity to meet with like-minded engineers and refine my presentation skills.”
Now Hasani is invited to present at a Regional Final for the UK between July and August. If successful, the global finals then take place in November.
