S/H UNIVERSITY INDOOR LEAGUE
2005/06 Season
The league has lost one of its most prominent teams with the sad demise of Logica Bamboozlers. They had won the league championship a record 5 times and also claimed four cup wins between 1988 and 2005. The new team comes from the Institute of Education. They boast a large squad, train in ULU and have competed in indoor football tournaments. It is hoped that they find their feet quickly and offer competetive football fitting in with the friendly spirit of the league.New Rules
The AGM brought about the follwoing rule changes: Bookings and suspensions from any of the competitions (cups and league) will affect each other. I.e if you get sent off in a cup game, you will be suspended for the next three league or cup games, depending upon thier order. A player may only transfer to another team one in a season and upon the two respective team's captains agreeing the transfer and having given the committee a week's notice. League matches will kick off at the latest at the following times: 12:35pm, 12:55pm, 1:15pm. If a team is later than this they will play with three players from these times or if they cannot field three players the game will immediately be called a walkover to the side that has turned up on time. A forth player may enter the field of player once given permission by the referee. Should neither side turn up, a committee meeting will be called to decide what course of action to take. This year's subs of 120 pounds are due by the 2nd of November at the LATEST. Please give your subs to Scott, who will be harrassing you until you do! Your registration form is to be handed in BEFORE you play your first match. It should be signed by any member of your team before they play. New players can sign the form later in the season, again before they play.Christmas Party
The League's Christmas Party will take place on Wednesday 7th December from 5:30pm. A finger buffet will be available from 7:30pm. The venue is: The Grafton Arms72 Grafton Way
