WEEK 4: 15/10/97: RESULTS:

COMPUTER CENTRE FC 11 - 0 UCL HOSPITAL

Scant reports as I was doing the dodgy refereeing

CCFC sent a clear message about their intentions on retaining the championship this year. The punishment handed out was concise against a depleated and unorganised UCLH. No Francios, the inspiration to UCLH's victory last week and the absence of a recognised keeper led to some atrociuos marking which CCFC were positively enjoying playing against. UCLH's only threat on goal came when Sanderson scored a classy half volley only to win a free kick as the whistle had already blown.

CCFC now have all three of their outfield players in the top scorers chart. UCLH won't relish the rematch next week in the Aegis Cup.

CCFC: Heagney, Ayling, Banks, Hajisavvi
UCLH: Narula, O'Driscoll, Sanderson, Walker

LOGICA BAMBOOZLERS 2 - 6 SOBEK

BAM, this season's suprise strugglers continued to show little sign of improving matters. With nearly their strongest side fielded, BAM fell to a more willing and better organised SOBEK side. SOBEK themselves, were treated to a thumping by new side Birkbeck in their first game, were clearly not about to let their title challenge falter any more against last season's runners up.

Bailey SOBEK's main scorer last season looks to be hitting his old form with a well taken hat-trick. SOBEK's over all perfomance impressed the most even if it was against a BAM side in need of some training.

BAM: Pennington, Abbott, Flemming, Xenophontos
SOBEK: Sidhu, Bailey, Conroy, Peter(?)

UCL GEOGRAPHY 4 - 6 UCL ZOOLOGY

After an excellent run of results, GEOG's points haul was brought to a stop by ZOO's first outing this season. If a drugs company could come up with a head ache cure that worked as quickly as complacency set in to GEOG's game, they'd be rich. A great start with 'Dobbo' scoring twice quickly looked to be on the way to keeping them top. To ZOO's credit they raised their game and not only clawed back but took a three goal lead.

GEOG's players started to realise they needed to play together again and started piling on the pressure. ZOO succumed but not without claiming another, as GEOG missed chance upon chance to bring themselves back in the game

GEOG: Kernan, Dobbinson, Rioval(Ryves), Sayer(Henderson)
ZOO: Brandon, Patrick, Puls, Wood
