SOAS go through to their first semi-final in years after an entertaining match. ACCTS were frustrated in the first half as they tried to beat Lerwill from long range while SOAS stood firm. SOAS started stringing passes together and in the fifth minute a diagonal ball from Walsh was smashed back across goal into the top left by Weston. After Watson stepped in his area to defend, Walsh hit the penalty at Barros and it parried over. The pattern continued untill the end of the half.
Tite came on for Weston and in the first minute blasted home a goal off of a rebounded Walsh shot. Two minutes later a carbon copy goal, except this time Tite shot and Walsh hit in the rebound. Walsh added another with a shot off the wall which beat Barros' bad positioning. Tite added another when he picked his spot from the half way line to make it 5 - 1. It wasn't all plain sailing as the 7th minute saw a near major comeback. In the same minute, A good ball to the edge of box saw Gordon bring a fine reflex save from Lerwill but it bundled back in off the post and himself. Backstron snatched a low drive in the bottom right and Watson fired another in the same corner. At 5 - 3 it looked like going to golden goal but SOAS upped their game and a weaving run and shot from Tite in the 9th minute put it beyond ACCTS.
