Bio

I am a Research Associate in the Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering at University College London from which I recently obtained a Ph.D degree. Prior to this, I received a B.Sc. in Informatics, an M.Sc. in Computer Science, by the Department of Informatics of the Athens University of Economics and Business. My research efforts lie at the intersection of operations research, telecommunications, and economics. My aim is to understand the economic conditions that will enable the next generation of network applications. I am particularly interested in market designs that dictate the interaction of strategic telecommunication players in a mutually beneficial way. My work develops applicable as well as performance oriented resource allocation mechanisms by combining tools in a variety of areas such as auction mechanisms, optimisation, game theory, and algorithms. In the past, I have been employed as an Research Assistant by the NSRF research program "DISCO". I have also been a visiting scholar in NetOS group Cambridge, an intern in IIJ-II, as well as in TCD department of Computer Science and Statistics. For my detailed CV click here.
