  • Academy of Social Sciences and Threshold Concepts
    The United Kingdom Academy of Social Sciences, through its Campaign for Social Science, has identified Threshold Concepts as one of twelve examples of excellent Social Science in Education that have influenced public policy or society. The 'Campaign for Social Science' regularly publishes Making the Case for the Social Sciences booklets and in a 2017 booklet the theme is education and in which threshold concepts are featured as:

  • Threshold Concepts and Conceptual Difficulty
    Practice and Evidence of the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning in Higher Education (PESTLHE), 12, (2), 2017; Special Edition: Threshold Concepts 2017 is now available.
